Garry Donnithorne has a history of experience in the automotive industry dating back to 1970. Having served his apprenticeship at a local Ford dealership, Garry eventually worked as a Service Manager for a number of Franchises, both in New Zealand and Australia. In the mid 1980s Garry purchased Canterbury Subaru and since this time has been instrumental in piloting many of the vehicle procurement and leasing options available to the market today. There are few names as synonymous and trusted throughout the Canterbury Automotive Industry as that of Garry Donnithorne.

Pete joined the automotive industry in 1996 having previously worked primarily in the manufacturing industry previously. Pete had worked both on the floor and at middle management levels. He joined Garry’s team in 1998. In 1999 operated the Outpost on Cranford LMVD for Garry as Sales manager. Pete has a good rapport with his clients and believes that while all transactions are important it should also be an enjoyable and relaxed experience for the client. Pete specialises in leasing, financing, vehicle purchasing and disposal. Pete is married with three teenage children.

Richard has been in the automotive industry since 1970 and has a wealth of experience in dealing with people as well as a wealth of knowledge relating to vehicles. He joined the VFL team in 2007 after 13 years with Flexi Lease Limited. Richard has also had many years selling vehicles to private individuals as well as commercial fleet clients - he has built a strong following in his journey through the industry. His people skills are well known and his clients have great respect for his judgement. Richard is a keen golfer, photographer and overseas traveler. He is married with three sons.

Denise is our receptionist/telephonist. She assists with administration, registrations and maintenance control of our fleet. Denise has been with us for ten years. She also looks after the majority of our incoming and outgoing accounts. Denise is very involved in the management of the administration relative to many of the other companies within The Garry Donnithorne Group of Companies

Sandra joined the VFL team in 2007 having previously been at Flexi Lease for the preceeding 8 years and prior to that 12 years with a Southland finance company. Sandra looks after all of our finance contracts and maintains our finance ledger. Sandra's expertise in this field has proven invaluable to our clients and VFL alike. Kathryn joined VFL in 2008 having previously been involved in the finance related industry for approximately eighteen years. Before the arrival of her two sons Kathryn worked in Human Resources, Payroll, Recruitment, Accounts and Administration. Kathryn looks after vehicle maintenance, administration and accounts.

Gloria joined VFL in early 2011 having had extensive experience in the finance and banking industry. Gloria previously worked with Trustbank/Westpac for 18 years. Gloria then worked with a Christchurch based finance company in lending administration before joining VFL. Gloria assists with administration, documentation and the processing of applications and contracts.
